• Excluded apps. Add a program to Settings, General and Keyfire pauses itself completely while that program is in front: no hotkeys, overlays, expansions or autocorrect. Everything resumes the moment you switch away. Free plan.

• Lower memory use. The interface now runs in fewer background processes and the screen-region picker only exists while you are using it.
• Clipboard history loads faster. Large histories no longer make the popup or the Clipboard tab slow to show the latest items.

• Holding a key that is mapped to a hotkey now behaves like holding the real keys. The hotkey repeats at your normal key-repeat rate and the trigger key no longer leaks into the app after about a second.
• The clipboard popup no longer goes blank when the history fetch is slow. It keeps showing the previous list and refreshes when the data arrives.

• Ready-made app profiles. Keyfire now checks which supported apps are installed and offers a one-click profile for each: Excel, Chrome, Edge, Explorer, Word and Outlook. Every shortcut replaces a ribbon trip or several key presses, and each profile comes with its own radial wheel on Ctrl+Shift+Space. Find them under Templates, App profiles.
• Radial layouts per device (Pro). Add extra wheel layouts and choose which one each machine fires with the Active Radial selector. Layouts sync with your config, the choice stays local.

• Type Text now presses real keys for every character on your keyboard layout, with Unicode only as a fallback. Typing behaves like a physical keyboard in every app.
• Analytics loads and refreshes far faster on large histories.

• Garbled or repeated characters when Type Text fired into Word or Windows 11 Notepad with spell check on.

• Change Press: move an action between single, double and hold press on the same key without rebuilding it. If the target slot is taken, the two actions swap.
• The on-screen keyboard now matches your physical keyboard. ANSI and ISO shapes are detected automatically (with an override in Settings), and key labels follow your Windows keyboard layout.
• F13 to F24 keys are now on the keyboard view, ready for Stream Deck and macropad triggers.

Improved

• Keyfire now uses a fraction of the memory it did. All windows share one renderer process and hidden windows are parked, cutting typical usage from around 740 MB to 450 MB.
• Hold and Repeat modes have a new "Stops when" option: stop on any key press, or only on Esc or the hotkey again.
• The main window starts lighter. Panels now load when you first open them.

• Pressing Esc no longer stops later text actions from firing. Esc now only cancels what is running at that moment.
• Dragging in a distilled macro now follows the window it was recorded in, even after the window moves.
• The keyboard view no longer scrolls at 1080p.
• Switching tabs while editing an action no longer triggers a false unsaved-changes prompt.

• The Triggers area (keyboard, mouse and radial views) now sits in the same framed panel as Text Expansions, Quick Search and Clipboard, with the Keyboard, Mouse and Radial switcher in its header. This completes the navigation refresh that started in v0.8.9.

• New look for the navigation. The top bar's section tabs are now a keycap-style segmented control with a sliding gold chip, and the Keyboard, Mouse, Radial and other sub-section switchers share the same keycap style.
• A visual consistency pass across the whole app. Every colour, size, corner and spacing now comes from one shared design system, so light and dark mode line up everywhere.
• The Mouse view now has the same spacing below the modifier bar as the Keyboard view.

• Keys mapped without a modifier no longer show a "BARE" label. The editor, keyboard canvas, status bar, sidebar tooltips, Quick Search list and notifications now show just the key.

• Quick Search can be switched off in Settings, freeing its hotkey for the app you are working in.

• Recorded macros can now loop and choose an input method.
• Keyfire tells you when something fails, including from the tray: a save that did not stick, a macro stopped because its app or window was missing, or hotkey hooks that could not start.
• Esc stops every long-running action, and pressing a trigger again always stops a repeating key.
• Editors keep unsaved work and ask before discarding. Deleting profiles, templates, quick actions and radial segments asks first.
• More resilient saving, importing and shared-folder handling, so configuration cannot be lost to sync conflicts or locked files.

• Quick Search settings did not survive a restart.
• Ctrl+Alt hotkeys deleted a character in the active app when fired.
• Renaming a profile emptied its radial wheel.
• Numpad keys with only a double-press or hold action showed as unassigned.
• Record Macro showed the wrong stop shortcut.
• Radial and Quick Actions editors had controls that did nothing.

Fixed

• Recorded macros can now be looped on Raw playback. The Loop option (repeat a set number of times, or repeat until stopped) is available directly in the Record Macro editor for every recording, whether or not it has been distilled. Press Esc or the macro's own trigger to stop a running loop.

New

• Wait for Text macro step (Pro). Have Keyfire pause your macro until specific text appears on screen, then optionally click it. Powered by Windows OCR. Drag a region over the target area with the new snipping-tool style overlay, type the text to find, pick a match mode (Contains, Exact, or Case-insensitive), set a timeout, and turn on Click when matched to have Keyfire press the matched text. Great for flows like "click Compose in Gmail, wait for Send to appear, then click it".

Improved

• Click accuracy on long macro playback. Cursor move and click are now sent as one atomic pair, so hardware mouse events from your hand cannot slip between them and drift the click off target. Noticeably tighter on 30-second-plus recorded sequences.
• OCR reads small button text more reliably. The preprocessing pipeline now upscales tight captures up to 4x, which fixes text that previously read as nothing on button-sized regions.
• Re-press the same trigger while a macro is still running to abort the current run and start again from step one. Autoclicker-style triggers keep their existing press-to-stop behaviour.
• Wait for Pixel, Wait for Text, Wait for Window, Change Audio Output, and Run AHK Script macro steps are now consistently Pro across the step picker and the runtime.

Fixed

• Alt+Scroll, Ctrl+Scroll, and other modified scroll wheels assigned to a macro no longer also pass through to the app underneath. You can bind Alt+Scroll Down to Volume Down without your browser also zooming.
